Re: Sick Fish
I'm pretty sure it is not Ick. There are no spots on the fins and the spots on his body are way to big. Should I treat with some Maracyn or just use garlic. What do you think?

Sick Fish
Does anyone know what is wrong with this fish? I got these marks on it about two days ago. I did lose a Sohal Tang about two weeks ago with something similar.
Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Pictures of the new display tank
Thanks to everyone for the complements. I'm glad the lights came out as well as they did. If anyone is interested in getting costom lights built, let me know and I will give you a quote. For a 48" it will be around $1200 depending on what you are looking for. Or if you want to build your own, I...

Re: Full Tank Pics
Whatever gets the most flow is best. Mine are directed down or strait at each other. I guess every tank is different, I have just never seen that placement.

Re: Full Tank Pics
Nice tank! I'm glad to see your SPS corals are doing good. Just one question; why are your power heads pointed strait up?

Re: Which Salt is the best for my tank? a Pic is worth a 1000...
I tested the Oceanic Sea Salt for Iodide, it was almost undetectable. I did the same test with Instant Ocean and it tested at .03 (Sea water is .03) It seems the cheeper salt is the better salt.

Re: Water Test Results
I just tested my Iodine and it was off the charts low. >.01. I think that is why I had a couple of sps corals bleach out.
Just another test might want to get.

Mexican terbo snails
Gerwin, Can you get me some Mexican turbo snails? I read they will eat red turf algae. I have to get rid of that stuff before I do something stupid.
