Mainly being that if you are treating aipstasia close to any expensive coral you have to be extra cautious with the chalk like substance...

Re: Algae problem. (not horrible but bad enough)

What would bulb life be on a t5 ho? Had about a year and replaced bulbs once. Should I replace again?

I am currently running a t5 ho one white one blue with bulbs maybe 3 or 4 months old plus led strip all blues. I put reef biokit and new pads have stopped further growth. My ta...

Algae problem. (not horrible but bad enough)

In my 29 gallon reef tank algae has shown up. At first it was a red algae on sand bed and I would just vacuum up. Now the red is on my rocks along with green. I just did a water change and changed my puripads. Didn't help with algae on rocks. I have a 90 gallon in the works and I am beginning to thi...

Re: water cloudiness

Ha ha that would be my fault. I seen post about u staying a good distance away and figured. I would b more worried about using city water than well. I had a problem with my water at my old place with city water. Mine smelled like chlorine really bad. Ro/di definitely would help understanding ur wate...

Re: water cloudiness

Definitely would go buy some puripads from gerwin. Should be all that you would need to run. Some water will come out the faucet kinda cloudy looking, sometimes just from air in pipes, but being on well water there might be some kind of elevated levels. Would definitely start using ro/di water.
