I have decided to change my tank from salt to a planted fresh. I'm selling everything out of it. and also other misc. stuff I have for salt. Coral: rocks with mushrooms on them some purplish color some green $10-20... duncan with 7-9 heads $25.. frogspawn 4" across $15... large yellow tip torch...

I called every glass shop on the coast and nobody would drill my 90gal tank. So after doing some research on HOB over flow boxes, I choose a lifereef overflow. Got that and a mag drive 9.5 ordered, should arrive this coming week. Plan on building a new stand on Monday. Went by Gerwins and picked out...

Tisbe pods
Does anybody have experience with Tisbe pods? They call them tropic pods, and say tisbe pods do better in reef tanks then tiger pods.. But we all know they say a lot of crap sometimes.

Buying dry rock is a lot cheaper than buying fully cured live rock. So I have been thinking about curing some live rock in the wild. My plan would involve placing some dry rock in a bag (or bags) take it out to horn island and letting it stay in the water for a month or two. Then bring it home and s...

Ha googled it. Got it. po4 is the symbol for phosphates. Got it.. Going to start rinsing all frozen food with ro/di water. If that doesn't help, think I will try vodka dosing.
