I have done it before,I am pretty good at it, but i am not an expert. I can say the thicker the glass the better, glass on a 90 gal is pretty thick so it shouldnt be that bad. I thought larger tanks had tempered glass on the bottom and plate on the sides. If it is tempered I would not risk drilling ...
