I've had these two mandarins for quite a while...I didn't do anything really, just saw him eat pellets the other day, but have been thinking about getting rid of him for a while.

Price? Honestly, I don't really care, whatever it's worth???...we could just as easily trade some stuff or whatever.

Gerwin's got a point...my 150 only drains about 1/2" and I designed it that way...of course you could have more or less if you wanted it.

I agree with Jessie...I'm almost 100% with Aiptasia-X and coupled with the shrimp you'll be fine...that's what I did and it worked.

The water level is getting too low in your sump and your pump is sucking in air....add more water to the sump????

Botton line up front: I can't answer your specific question, but....
Calcium in pure form will not harm fish, but I'm not sure what your cuttlebone is truly composed of...probably not 100% calcium and that is what would worry me. Pure calcium supplements are pretty cheap and easy to obtain.
