filled tank with fresh water, once tank was filled to bottom of the pastic rim, the center brace broke loose from back side of tank,no leaks. but did notice that one corner did open up. about a 1/16",- 1/8" drained tank tank and inspected the spot, when i pushed on the corner i did notice ...

thats the probelm, i'am not sure that i want to tackle this on my own. i too would hate to see what 100 gals. of water looks likes on the floor of the house . :thumbdown:

if i had too take the advice of someone , Gerwin's would be the one i'd follow, since i've only been in the hobby for a short period of time. just made an observation and gave my opinion for what it may be worth.

looks like a very small checkered sundial snail, they pretty much eat only zoas, suck out the insides and leave the husk. they lay eggs in the colony where they are feeding. and will totally consume it. hope this helps. :?:

:eh how do you fragg hard corals and take cuttings from soft one's ie. finger/colt corals ?
is this something i can do or is it best left to the pro's? dont want to damage or kill anything.

I ADDED POWDER BLUE TO MY TANK ABOUT 3 TO 5 WEEKS AGO. ALL OF SUDDEN THIS WEEK HE HAS DESIDED TO CHASE AND NIP AT MY HIPPO TANK. I KNOW THEY ARE A LITTLE AGGRESSIVE BUT IT IS PRETTY BAD. i've, been doing a weekly water change since i started my tank, once iam done with the change, i repenish my r.o. water and salt mix, let it age for the week until next change and have had no problems,with h2o or tank conditions. course i'am not an expert at this hobby yet, lol. but i do remember so...

:D 1st let me say it was nice to meet you! 2nd again thank you, cup coral is doing fine,glad i went with the smaller leather that sucker is big!!!! the zoas look great,and the finger is doing fine.will post so pics later for all too see. love your tank maybe one day mine will look half as good.
