Ati bulbs do put out more par but what I was saying is an actinic bulb makes less par then a blue plus or aqua blue special.

I use to run ati bulbs but did not run actinic due to the the lower par output. I did have a super actinic I put in but quickly removed due to not making look better and reduce the par. If you were only thinking of replacing the actinic you can't really go wrong with the ati actinic bulbs.

Radions or Vegas. I have Radions. But Vegas are only 500 each and Radions are 600 each right now.

I would wait for atleast the 1 month mark before putting them back then acclimate them very good and hope for the best.

I use to use a spread sheet like the one posted until I found Aquaplanner app on iphone. It's very handy if you have a Iphone. Has compatibility charts and graphs and inhabitants equipment list and much more. Worth looking into at least for the iphone users.

The yellow tang will probably be very aggressive since he was there first and is so big. Me personally I wouldn't risk it. He will most likely ich out.

I have poured it straight on the rock from the bottle before. Would only do one rock at a time like that though. Will kill coralline but it comes back fast.
