Evil Cucumber

So last night me and another member, Goalkeeper, arrived at my house and noticed that I had all this white stuff in my tank. Not like grains or growth on anything, just long stringy stuff. Then I noticed that my cucumber was covered in it. After thinking the cucumber was dead, it began to move. Not ...

Re: Calcium and Alkalinity

from what I have read today on the internet my calcium levels could be fine. I just did a water change last night and the alkalinity is still super high. I am guessing that the next step will be to do another water change, correct?

When I was in the store I was told that these should both be around 5.? When I tested the water and read the results tho I noticed that they are in differen...

I have heard people using mysis shrimp. Where exactly would I get this stuff? I have the frozen shrimp that I picked up for my goby and clown. Its in the frozen blocks, looks like a big pack of dentene ice. Ha Ha. Now are you guys using something like a turkey baster to feed or just the tube and top...

at the sale I was speaking to a few people about spot feeding my duncan coral. I have heard that most people do not do this. I was just wondering where i would get the food and what type should i get if i choose to do this. Roger already explained to me the ways to accomplish this. I noticed when I ...

Re: Thanks Gerwin! The GER ROG sale was great!!

I agree with getting the aliases down. It would be nice to meet some of the people who give advice and stuff. But overall thanks the fishy stuff. It was a great laid back event and was cool to meet all the people who are in to tanks and stuff. And about the weather, Gerwin you should know we can buy...

Re: Tank Ready for Corals? suggestions?

I used the tests that I purchased. my ammonia is 0 mg, nitrite is <3 mg/l, and pH is somewhere between 7.7-8.0. I do not have a test for Magnesium. Should I go purchase one of those? I bought my first coral yesterday. I believe it was some kind of zoo. It seems to be doing fine. Although I have to c...
