Re: Carib Sea Water.

Which one would you suggest? It sounds like the RO would be a little better as far as removing particles right?

Re: Carib Sea Water.

The specific gravity on the water (straight out jug) was 1.029! I knew that would be too strong to just add to my tank so I just mixed it with some deionized water that I got from my chem lab. As far as water goes is the deionized the same quality as the ro??

I mean I only wanted the container to help in tank changes and figured I could top off my tank and just use it next water change....

Re: Rogers tank progress

How come every time that people get nice things and are happy with them, there is always something that should have been taken care of before?? Well I guess you have to take the good with the bad sometimes

Fish suggestions

I am currently setting up a 29 gallon tank. I currently have 5 snails, 5 hermits, and two yellowtail damsels. I would say I have around 20 lbs? Not exactly sure how much I have. I want to do a coral setup, but I still need the lights and feel like I have a bit more to learn before I go to this level...

Re: I want to set up a saltwater aquarium...

I would say from my first tank that things do get expensive. But as Gerwin said, its a hobby. Which means that the work and purchasing is never done. But when you weigh the benefits with the cost, then you definitely will see that it is completely worth it. Ha even help with life extension for the o...
