Re: JustFish BBQ and Frag Swap!

Sunday works for me. Nothing to trade since I'm still a newbie, but always looking to learn and add to my tank. Bud. :D

Re: 55 gl set-up (upgrading to 125)

Just installed maxspect led's om my 125, so my 4 bulb t5s are now included in the deal (2 blue, two white). First $300 takes the lot. I can even help deliver them if you don't live too far from D'iberville. Great deal. Cell 228 861 8619. Bud

Great news, I knew you wouldn't lead me astray. I have a target rich environment for him to thrive. :D

That's what I discovered as well. I'll discuss options with Gerwin tomorrow. Thanks.

rock goby

What does this little beast eat? I thought he would be an algea attacker but what I'm reading is he wants small crustaceans and copepods. Should my little crabs be scared? I don't have any copepods, no refugium to grow them in (yet). He's pretty cool, I'd hate to have him starve.

Tank and all are now available. I have no doubt you'll have everything you need to get our reef on.

Re: Salt mix

My experience using instant ocean mixing in a 5 gallon bucket 1 3/4 cups wii get you to abou .024. I usually fill the bucket about 3 inches below the rim. Using a power head to mix, I get the good number in about 30 minutes. Good luck.

Don't tell Gerwin

O.K., Gerwin's head is big enough already so this is not intended for him, but I entered our favorite LFS pretty upset about some recent events ( details un-important) and left feeling much better. His experience and knowledge assured me everything would be OK. This "hobby" can be exciting...

Looks great, my plastic tub sitting in a 33 breeder would be jealous except for its modeled after the fountain of fish knowledge (his words) display tank.

Re: plumbing my new 125

Tank is transferred. Everything that the haddens carpet anemone didn't kill in the temp tank seems to be doing fine. Water parameters all good, sand sentiment is finally settling. Plumbing is leak free, Skimmer is skimming effectively already and new led's are very cool. (Controller doesn't work(see...

Copy that, but do I have to pull my pants down a little while working on the plumbing.
