My reef tank is getting ver run with Aiptasia, is there anyting that would take care of this besides chemicals.

My SetUp: 180gal saltwater reef, 6-80watt T5 lights, 2 powerheads in tank, 2 return pumps in a 40gal sump, uv sterilizer, gfo and carbon reactor.

I have had pretty good luck using peppermint shrimp. And I believe that copperbanded butterfly fish are suppose to eat them also. Right, Gerwin????

I got Aiptasia X from Gerwin and it's been 100% deadly....seems safe to me aftering killing about six aiptasia

My SetUp: AGA 150g 48x30x25, Reef Octopus Skimmer, Bio Pellet, Phosphate, Carbon reactor. Mostly a SPS coral tank with a few zoas a Green Polyp Toadstool, a Chalice or two and a couple of Scollys thrown in there. Top Off System and dosing pump system for Calcium and Alk.

Buy a few Peppermint shrimp and a bottle of Aiptasia X, between the two you will be alright.

I have purchased Aiptasia X . Might go thru the bottle before i am done. Going t purchase pepermint shrimp and looking for copprbanded butterfly fish. Thanks for the info.

whats up Mike! they gave you good advice
also the Kleind butterfly is a aiptasia murdering machine....although his like for corals seems to be hit and miss
