"BBQ" Thoughts?

I think that we should one day have a BBQ at some location, so everyone can meet each other and build on the friendships for our hobby. Thoughts?

Great idea! I have set up 2 different meets for my car forum at the Gulf Shores National Sea Shore Pavillion 5 in the last year. Only cost $25 to rent the Pavillion. Has Bathrooms, Plenty of Tables, and decent size Grill. Best part is, it right next to the water with a great view.

I am assisting with the "Bark for a cure" dog show tomorrow in D'iberville Auto Parkway. Its a fun dog show for all breeds including mutts. I will be there pulling MC duties and also there with Sarge ,my white german shepherd rescue since blue crabs don't like being out of the water for a long period in S Mississippi heat.

Bark For a Cure Dog Show supporting the American Cancer Society, Saturday, July 17, 2010 at 9 a.m., D'Iberville Farmer's Market Pavilion (on AutoMall Parkway) $30 one-time entry fee.

This is a FUN DOG SHOW you just have to have a dog doesn't have to be a registered pooch. Categories: smallest, largest, best groomed, most obedient, prettiest, most talented, shortest legs, dog and owner look alike, best costume, most unusual ears, most unusual markings, ugliest and Best in Show.
dogs must be leashed maximum length 6', proof of K-9 vaccines, NO other type of pets or animals allowed, just dogs, Owners or handlers under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. We consider the right to turn away any dog considered a threat to other dogs or participants (NO Exception). Participants are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs.
