I had been getting a paper published over the last few months and havent hit the gym regularly because of it, getting back in more regular now. Don't do regular powerlifting moves like clean and jerk, but do a ton of press, flat bench, and deadlift. I won't squat over 315 anymore, want heavy I do deadlift. I also do everything raw (equipment free), no straps, no belts, no elbow wraps...just me an my gym clothes.

How much do u weigh? I am currently weighing 210-220. If I was to compete, I would try to get back down to 198. I love squats! That's my forte. Bench seems to by weakest link. Although i have a strong strict press. I lift raw as well. Belts are not considered geared in all the powerlifting federations that I know of.

Hmmm... That's pretty close. We are about to have a biggest loser competition at work. I'm goin to try to drop down below 200. That should make it even more close. I'm down to compete.

You'll probably beat me, I'm old an out of shape. Hopefully the gym will whip me back up, my normal walk around weight when actively lifting is about 205.

29, but basically 30. Just did sets of deadlifts today, have weakened up on them a good bit. My fifth rep of 315 my grip started breaking and had to regrip on rep 7 and 8. Leg strength was there but grip was definitely failing. I guess all of that sitting and typing last few months didn't help the grip strength as much. Hope to get it back quick...
