Is a 90 gallon big enough for a clown tang?

one day, yes
but that is the case with many fish we buy.
And that is many many many days, years away.

I would be more concern with just keeping and maintaining my fish in a healthy enviroment and if we are luckily enough to claim we kept our tangs to the point they got to big for my tank, we deal with it then....such as sell to Shadow 1 with his 300 gallon tank  or trade for a smaller one OR and my favorite...buy a bigger tank from me!!!

Bottom line: contain all research to your aquarium here on this website, we will never turn you in to the Tang Nazi's out there patroling the www. :shh:

Listen to the gman he will not steer you wrong, as far as the 300 it has a Sohal that would not appriciate a Clown Tang. I might try one though they are cool fish.

The bigger question is, what else do you have in there now and what else are you planning on adding? Clown tangs tend to be on the aggressive side( personalities vary) so you may want that to be the last fish you add.
