Eating charcoal

Post by stwim » Wed Apr 07, 2010 10:36 pm

My filter cartrage busted and charcoal went in to the water. The fish were eating it. We got as much of it out as we could, but I know they ate some... especially the parrot fish. I am worried sick! Will they sruvive? Is there anything I can do?

I would think they would be okay, but then again that's just my opinion, and we all know what those are like
Back to the okay part, they give charcole to people and dogs that eat something bad, like poison, so I wouldn't think it will hurt them unless they can't pass it on the other end.
This is also where we scream,,, GEERRRWINNN,,,, WE NEED SOME HELP!!!!

Parrotfish will eat anything that doesn't eat them first. I wouldn't worry about it.
