deep sand bed

Post by Archie » Sun Jul 30, 2006 3:44 pm

ger and myself decided(more me than him, i think)to add a plenum system
to my existing reef tank. talk about about a job. so far so good no casulaties
except for my yellow tang that is under the left plenum plate(installed
by the man himself(ger)).this system looks very promsing for a more natural approach in reef keeping.
all coral and fish look fantastic so far(to soon to make and judgements)
well anyway, if you have any questions about setup for this type of system
let us know.
pitures of my tank after install

in my defense,
a.I was not given a fish inventory so I knew not what to be accountable for
b. Archie had the tank so stirred up I could not see
c. He "the man", Acrh, told me to put the 2nd plate in.
d. I am part asian and my slighltley slanted eyes prevneted me from seeing fully top to bottom of the tank

and it was a undertaking, and it was Arch's idea..I just planted the seed :lol:
