My SetUp: 55g Barb tank...Tiger Barbs, Black Rubies, Green Barbs, Banded Leporinus, and a Red Fin Shark. Clean up crew consists of two small (3") plecos

I have the same piece in my tank that you have on the right of yours...just bought a few more pieces tonight.

I like the ship coming out of the top of the tank - that is pretty creative.

If you look close you can tell that I used 2 different color sands. My original idea was on the black sand side to build a oil rig and also buy some pipes. I wanted to lay the pipes in the sand to make it look like a oil leak.. The other side was going to be a nice corol reef like kinda how it looks now. I think that is part of the fun in building tanks is to have themes. I will try to post my other tanks pics soon.

Thats pretty cool I uploaded the pics to Picasa and it automatically updated my link.... So you can see the new lighting I bought for the tank it makes a huge difference.

I was actually just thinking about that the other day but I was not 100% sure if that was the case so I just kind of let it go and passed it off as I may be getting old, lol. Glad to see that it wasn't just me :-)
