Pump question

Just wondering what everyone thinks on this subject. Is it better to hook the water pump up externally or use it internally? Which way will help keep the water temp. lower?

externally will keep it lower, also pumps such as little giants, blue line etc designed for external use only disperse heat to the air and not to the water.
BUT maintenance etc is much easier and quicker with the internal style.
FIrst do a test, check your temp, unplug your main pump for a few hours and watch the temp . Your internal power heads etc, will keep you corals fine and a airpump if you are really concerned adds no heat but would further aerate the tank / sump.
