Can we link pictures from a Photobucket account? I've an account there. I tried embeding the link, but was told the pic was too large. Is that correct or did I screw up somewhere?

Thanks,

Wes

After you up load your pic to PB you should have, I think, four codes under the pic, use the third code down from your pic.

Hey RF I tried that and it gave me the error that "my file size couldn't be determined". Am I supposed to put it in the [IMG] bracket format? Let me try again, because I could have very well just screwed up!

And once more we try...

This just post a hyper link. I need to embed the image. I'm afraid my pics are too large, but I would't think so. Sandy's pics from the store are defo larger than what I'm being told the limits are--800 pixels.

As Gerwin stated earlier, I am no puter wiz  so I don't know what the problem is with your pics, I have never had that problem. What I do know is that after you down load your pics to PB, you should have 4 IMG pics sizes to choose from. If you are getting these four IMGs to choose from try choosing a differant IMG and see what that does for you. What I am thinking here is that: even if your pics saved in your puter are large, you should be able to resize them in PB with the differant IMGs. On a good note   the pic you do have posted in the link shows your bubble algae really well. Just keep playing with it and hopefuly if you keep having a problem, one of the puter :?: experts in here will have a better idea for you than I have come up with.

looks you you may have some cyno algae getting started, better get some herbivores going to crop back some of that macro and micro you got going, its a pain once you start putting corals in there

On photos larger than 800 pixels wide, use the Image

Link broken with a space for illustrative purposes:

RF, thanks for the advice. Actually those are O2 bubbles coming from the algae. I do have two TINY spots of bubble algae that I didn't take pics of. :D

Gerwin, can you tell me what the cyano is? I didn't notice it in the photo.

Doug, thanks for the fix. I will post pics shortly.

Thanks guys for the help.

Sorry about the photos. Our camera is messed up so the Macro setting doesn't work, so no good closeups.

Ok, here we go...

Sorry about the flash glare.

cyanobacterial algae aka slime algae, filmy in appearance usually red or blk or dark green and often has small air bubbles trapped in it

Well, that definitely describes the crap in my tank. I will get a yellow tang asap. I tested my nitrates this morning and they were down to 10 ppm vs 15 4 days ago. I removed the sponges as you recomended as well. When I restarted the canister filter this white "stuff" came shooting out of the return. Weird thing is it looked like mysis shells or even fin rays attached to the joint of pectoral fins etc. Kind of a vague description but that's the best I can come up with :D . Of course a couple of my fish tried to eat it and then spit it back out--who knows. I assume it was something either caught or growing in the lines and when the pressure increased it blew it out. I've also cut back my photo period and try to make sure not to overfeed. Will keep you posted.
