Soft and hard coral for this newbie to saltwater
Can they both go in the same tank? And is there anymore differences i need to know about beside the soft and hard part?

see it done all the time,
there are purists who do not but I think I like the mix a little better.
the differences ..wow that could be a lot of typing!! perhaps I can get you to be more specific so I can make short answers
Placement in the tank, lighting, additives and other such things all can come into play. But nothing huge and you should not hesitate to mix them...room permitting

well i will be in the store sometime this week and you can show and explain some of the differences i need to know before i set my coral tank up.... see you soon
