I'm about 3 months into this and am learning a little more from Gerwin, this site and others, as well as a host of personal experiences (both positive and negative) every day. I just took some pictures that I'll post as soon as I figure out how, Here's what I have working:

55 gallon standard
Ehiem Canaster filter (currently running only using for mechanical filtration)
Whisper Power Filter (HOB) - carbon pads
Reef Octipus HB1000 Protien Skimmer (HOB)
Kor EVO 1050
Pair of clowns (nemo's)
Fire Hawkfish
Yellow Tang
3 Mexican Turbo's
7 Hermit Crabs
1 Banded Coral Shrimp
Mini-Maxi Carpet Anemone
variety of corals (leather, mushroooms (2 green, 1 blue, rock full of red), green bubble (shreded by an pincushion urchin), and several other who names I can't remembr) One I get some pictures posted you can help with ID.

Losses to date: 2 damsels (died in cycling process), 1 3 stripe damsel (lost in skimmer), 1 atlantic anemone (unknown problem), and most recently a royal gramma (went straight into a rock and never came out).

Salinity steady at 1.023, 0 Ammonia and Nitrites, 20 Nitrates (still fighting), PH 8.0, CA 350 (working on getting up).

Hopefully pictures coming soon. Thanks for all the assistance thus far.
