You never know what you are going to get!

I got the flashlight out tonight and started looking through the tank while the lights were off and I found an Emerald Crab and a Sea Urchin. I had no idea that they were in there! Are Sea Urchins reef safe? It is a baby and about the size of a nickle.

Kind of. The can be real bulldozers and the scrape the rock as they graze, so they will wipe out coralline algae. However, they will also wipe out nuisance algaes so it's a trade off. I've got two long spines in my tank and they aren't too bad, but I had a orange tuxedo, and it was a proverbial bull in the china shop. I had to put up frags that I was acclimating all the time, but it did eat bad algae like there was no tomorrow.
