Scott and I swapped some frags tonight and as I walked by my tank to check my new additions (looking great btw) I noticed the pics below. I guess crabs have really bad days sometimes!!!

- My SetUp: AGA 150g 48x30x25, Reef Octopus Skimmer, Bio Pellet, Phosphate, Carbon reactor. Mostly a SPS coral tank with a few zoas a Green Polyp Toadstool, a Chalice or two and a couple of Scollys thrown in there. Top Off System and dosing pump system for Calcium and Alk.

Must have really been hungry, will the plate corals just spit the shell out when he is done, I wouldn't think it would eat the shell?

I'm not sure what it did with the shell. It's gone this morning and it isn't laying beside the Scolymia. I guess another crab may have snatched it up, but who knows.

Now that is pretty cool. I wouldn't have thought a coral could/would eat a crab or even try.
Glad to hear those frags are doing well. I went down to check mine last night and noticed my Lobster shed again!! He shed 3 times in 2 years in the 30 gallon and has shed 5 times now in this 210g in only 7 months! Guess he's pretty happy with the move.
