Shark eggs

Post by goalk33p3r » Mon Sep 10, 2012 12:45 am

Well I thought I would try my luck with the shark eggs and see how it would turn out. I bought both of them that gerwin and roger had for sale a couple of weeks back. The first one i bought like a dumb ass picked it up out of water from the bag and put it in the tank. That egg lasted a good 2 days and smelled up the room like crazy. One of the worst smells ever!So i went back to gerwins and grabbed the other egg from him brought it home and made sure to just keep the egg in water. So far I have had the egg for almost two weeks it is about four inches long and doing great!!! I have it hanging on the front of the glass by a veggi clip where there is a good amount of flow. I have it facing so i can just look into the egg and see the top of the shark. You can see the bands of color now and its pretty impreesive how fast it is growing. It looks like I have about another week and a half to two weeks before it hatches. So I am really excited and can't wait for it to hatch! I will post some videos of it tomorrow so you can get an idea of what's going on and keep y'all up to date.

I just really hope that when it hatches i am there to see
