Oh, with a tank that shallow there is no need to pay for the extra punch from XMLs (there main benefit is the ability to drive light through so much depth), and you will only need a single unit and won't need Optics.
You will not be limited by the light on what you can grow. You'll have to dim them to keep from reaching photo-inhibition (too much light for the coral to keep growing)

Alrighty sounds good Scott. I'll be looking forward to the list and I guess it won't run me as much since I won't need as much. How high will I have to have the fixture? I might build a custom rack that allows me to adjust the height up to 12" or should i just build a hood to sit the fixture on? I'm also thinking of building a custom acrylic box to store the heat sink and drivers, with the ends having cut outs for air flow. I want a splsh guard for the led's but what type type of material should I use, a clear piece of acrylic or plexi glass? Again thanks for the help Scott!
