The tank is looking great. :D Have the clowns paired up? In the full tank shot you have posted, they aren't with each other. The M. clowns that I had, once they paired up, they pretty much never left each others side. The reason I ask is, that once they pair up and one becomes the male and female, they may then start hosting the RBTA.

Thanks guys. I have a video to post but can figure out the You Tube button. When I do, I will post it.

Yes, the clowns are paired--99% of the time they stay by each other hovering in the corner when it's dark or tooling around on "their" end of the tank. I think the RBTA likes a little higher flow area than these clowns want. It moved itself higher in the tank for more light and flow so I'm just guessing. Since I got the clowns from Gerwin, they have definitely become male and female--at time of purchase they were the same size--now one is half again bigger than the other is. Would love to have them spawn. Maybe one day.

I do have a Photobucket--that's how I post my pics. I upload videos to YouTube and wanted to use the direct link instead of a clickable one.

Well after sitting all night and day the direct link didn't work, so here is just a link instead of an embedded video.

I thought you would like the soundtrack! It's titled "The 2 and 4 year olds watch Shrek 4 while daddy tries to film the tank!"--catchy title eh?!?!

The skimmer is a Reef Octopus BH-100F. It is a HOB model that I actually have hanging on my sump. It works very well like that--I empty the cup about every 4-5 days of dark brown crap (literally). Great skimmer--RO products rock and they have outstanding cutomer service.

Yeah, I'm guessing it's just pulling the crap out. Are you skimming wet or dry? If you are skimming on the dry side and it's pulling that much out, you've got a lot of goo in your tank, but that will come down. If you are skimming wet, ease up the cup abotu 1/8th of an inch and watch it. If it's still wet, raise it another 1/8th. When I got mine adjusted, I drew a line with a Sharpie to remember the level and now whenever I empty and reinstall it's perfect.

Thanks all. I appreciate the compliments. In my tank I've got the following fish: a purple dottyback, (2) clowns, a bi-color damsel, a yellow watchman goby, a firefish, a green chromis, a six line wrasse and a lawnmower blenny. The lawnmower is named Chris Farley-he bangs his head on rocks and is generally nuts! :wtf:
