What's the best/ easiest way to trime Xenia? I've got a small piece that I isolated to a rock, but, of course its taken over said rock, so I want to trim it before it spreads.
Thanks.

Re: Xenia
Take the rock out of the tank, any scraps can form new colonies.
Then cut it at the base and epoxy over the area or, just take the rock out from time to time and cut it back... kind of like mowing grass... you don't really get rid of it, you just trim it back.

Re: Xenia
Okay, thanks Scott. I kind of thought that would be the way to do it, but just wanted to ask.

I'll see what I can muster up. That crap defo grows fast and I know a lot of people consider it a nuisance, but it really is a pretty coral to watch.
