Ligths out for 3 day

Hey Gerwin, have you tried lights out for 3 day to help with hair algae? I'm in my 3rd day with the lights out and still have some in there but it looks like it will help any thoughts? My new signature should be I HATE HAIR ALGAE AND THOSE AIPTASIA BUT THEY LOVE ME!!!!!!!!

Actually I have.....matter a fact I should have documented it but I went about 10-14 days
GOOD news: My corals lived
BAD news: so did my hair algae

what ended up working for me was about 200-300 reef hermits with reduced lighting and lots of phosphate removing products.
Desperate times call for desperate measures
