Just wondering, how much is the Bleeding Apple Scolly, although I am sure its outa my price range. How much is the Lime Green Scolly, that one would also throw a lot of color into the tank and might be a bit cheaper. Just curious, how do they propagate? Do you have to split them with a razor blade like you would a recordia, do they put out a filament line like a mushroom and start a new one that way? I am guessing the answer would be the razor blade, boy that would be hard to do, take a razor blade to an expensive coral like that :)

Did a bit of puter serching on how to propagate a Scolly. You slice them up like you would a round pizza. I found a Bleeding Scolly frag for sale on one of the coral web sites. It looks like they cut the Scolly into four pieces and are selling them for $60.00 each, no telling how long it would take to grow back into its full shape though.

the scoly is a LPS, so there is a skeleton to cut, saw is the answer and yes it takes a long time for that to come back I am sure, bleeding apples go from 180-and 250.00 that I have gotten and the one at store was 250.00. The Lime Green has been here for a bit I will sell it for 150.00 and make room for some more goodies
