What a cool day

Post by guitarest » Sat Sep 10, 2011 3:21 am

So I headed out to Long Beach Harbor earlier today (16:30) and had plans of catching a few game fish and having fish for dinner tonight. I set up baited my hook and casted out. The shrimp was on my hook for maybe 4 - 5 minutes and I have to pay attention since I know there are bait stealers and I modify my hooks by bending the barb back so they are barbless. Well had a hit and pulled in this guy.... He and two baby Gafftopsail Catfish, are new members of my 100gal. Tomorrow I will be letting my pinfish and large female crab go. Oddly enough while feeding the regular fish the three new members openly took shrimp tonight.
