Wow Ger it looks really nice!
Your fish are beautiful and the plants are too.
I love how freshwater tanks turn into ecosystems that can basically take care of themselves!

Calcium in fish tank
I put a little piece of my bird's cuttlebone in the tank because I have baby trapdoor snails and they have cracks in their shells. I read that this can be from not getting enough calcium. The cuttlebone is rubberbanded to a rock so it sits on the bottom. It is like 1x1cm. (in the 20 gallon). My ques...

Anacharis growing fuzz on it
Is this a pest algae that I am going to have to bleach treat?
Or is this something that is common with this plant.
I have this fuzz growing on the leaves.

Listen, she failed like two times and gave up.
Which is lame. I think you should keep trying.
Do you think they would live if she threw them in the sump?

I think this is super cool! The angels are my fave.
I actually saved a couple that were stuck in someone elses crab trap placed under a pier once and released them :p
Too bad they will probably die anyways.

Plants that were in Sandy's pond

(Well that is what it looks like) When I put them in the tank, they had debris and bits and pieces falling off in the tank. Now my water is cloudy ...

Re: pond plants can kill ....
I was wondering this myself, so being the little science nerd that I am- I did some research. I found this: At moderate levels, aquatic vegetation is beneficial to fish populations. But when it covers more than ½ of the pond, the potential for a fish kill is greatly enhanced. Plants produce oxygen ...
