New Problem

Post by Sandy » Fri May 28, 2010 9:23 pm

Okay, so here we go again.... Came home today and caught my yellow tang pecking and eating the flesh off of one of my favorite brain corals.... I know they are suppose to be reef safe.... could it be that the brain is not healthy to begin with or is the tang eating the brain for the heck of it????? Has anyone else had this problem????
My dilemma..... ditch the coral,,,,, shoot the fish...... ditch the coral,,,,,,, shoot the fish......AARRRGGGG!!!!!!
There will be no question if I see it eating another coral!!!!
 This is not a happy face........

your thought of dying is possible, is it ripping off tissue or do you see it nipping at it? if just nipping there could be something on it the tang wants to eat. (food particles etc)

+1 on what Gerwin said...even if there is a tiny piece of food/algea, he'll go for it!
