found my new favorite fish

i happened to buy a hawkfish from gerwin saturday and he has to be my favorite fish so far. every time i go to check on my tank he pops out of the rock and comes to the front of the tanks and sits there. he has the best personality of any fish that i have had. i would def. recommend this fish to any one that does not have one great lil fish thanks gerwin

So the fish is working out huh? Watch out he might jump out of the tank too when you throw the light on.! ha ha. I would like to get one of those fish. I just talked to my Marine Biology professor and got some insight on what to put in my tank and stuff. She definitely knows a lot about anatomy and the physiological aspects of tank life. I will keep you posted about the things that she tells me. Also she turned me on to some cool fish places in pensacola. We will definitely have to check them out after the one in NOLA.

Yeah i got a hawkfish from there too and put it in my 29g biocube he is pretty cool! definitally added something to the tank!

I have one as well. every time i get ready to feed him he comes all the way to the top and will just about take something out of my hand haha.

I recommend the hawkfish to any one a really great fish I have had him a little more than a week and I want to get another one for my second tank lol

I AGREE MAN. IM WAITING ON ANOTHER ONE LIKE YOURS, OR HOPEFULLY HE WILL GET IN A FLAME HAWK. I REALLY WANT A GREEN CLOWN GOBIE OR GOBY, HOWEVER YOU SPELL IT (STILL LEARNING HA HA).

gerwin still has that long nose hawk there i was close to getting it but i decided to get another clown fish lol cohen convinced me lol nemo daddy nemo lol and he still has that humu humu if i had a bigger tank it would have been sold have fun teaching

yea i know. I want that humu humu so bad. But it seems that you lose the ability to keep a lot of cool fish when you go to adding corals and stuff. All this means is that i am going to get a bigger tank!!!! then ill get what i want. I am really wanting to get my keeping skills up and eventually try to raise some cuttlefish eggs. That is if I can find them. I only read about them once in a forum, haven't heard anything else on them. Im sure i am planning waaay ahead of myself. But hey, what are hobbies for if you can't dream right????
