Built the Lighting canopy. Built it as a fur down. Still have to paint a couple pieces of trim and fish the electrical for the lighting, but pretty much done!!

Good looking build Scott! Congrats. Can't wait to see it full of corals. Good luck.

So this is what I'm thinking of for a stocking list.

5 Blue/Green Chromis
2 Royal Gramma
2 Black Percula Clowns
1 scooter blenny
^^ In tank

I'm thinking something like this for the rest
2 ORA Spotted Mandarin Dragonet (readily accepts pellets)
1 Yellow Tang
1 Blonde Naso Tang (Doesn't have to be blonde, definitely want a male, I love those streamers!)
1 Sailfin Tang
1 Powder blue tang
4-5 Firefish
2-3 engineer goby
2-3 Flasher Wrasse
1 Male Anthias

What's a good reef safe wrasse combo to get some good flashing going on?

The Aquailluminations SOL LEDs are here!! I have to program my controller, and mount them before I'll have anything to photograph! I did swap out the optics already. Darn my gimp leg!! I should have everything running in the next day or so!

Pics are updated. The pictures came out much much more blue than it looks to the eye. My android camera isn't cutting it. I need to get an SLR. My mom is a great photographer, I'll get her to come over and get some better shots once I get a few more frags in there.

First coral went in... I had a few Red Monti Cap frags that I mounted last night!

I LOVE these lights. They are incredible.

More pics updated! About 20 total corals in the tank now, and few pieces of rock from my 30 gallon tank! It looks amazing. I'm hoping to talk Sandy into coming to visit and get a few pictures for me.. I'll let you know how that turns out... once she reads this post!

Updated new pics!! My apex is down, due to a memory problem, so I'm getting it repaired. That's keeping me from having a normal lighting schedule (well ramping anyhow)

Fish Update:

The yellow tang is healthier than he has ever been. Fattened up a lot since I got him, and he seems.... yellower! The sailfin is looking great and I haven't lost any chromis in a long time, group seems to have settled at 8. I haven't seen my mandarins in a while... but that happens!

On the down side, my bicolor foxface died a few days ago. No idea why, he seemed fine when i went to sleep... And I added 4 firefish about 3 weeks ago and never saw them again lol.

I moved my red reef lobster from the 30 gallon, my blue reef chromis, and my ocellaris clownfish as well. All acclimated well and are doing great!

So current fish in tank
8 blue/green chromis
1 blue reef chromis
2 spotted mandarin dragonette (paired up!!)
2 Black ocellaris clownfish (seem to have paired as well)
1 ocellaris clownfish (not sure of what to do with him.. I'm worried about him with the others, but it is a big tank)
2 Royal Gramma
1 Midas Blenny
3 Engineer goby
1 yellow tang
1 sailfin tang

6 Skunk (scarlet) cleaner shrimp
1 Coral Banded Shrimp
5 peppermint shrimp
1 Hawaiin red reef lobster
clean up crew

Long tentacle anemone

I plan to add:
1 more large show type fish - Debating between another Tang (clown/naso/p.blue) a Harlequin tusk or another Foxface
1 flame angel

I love my Harlequin Tusk but he will eat all your shrimp and the lobster too, I know because he ate mine but that fish is so cool its worth it to me.
