Native Fish (Spade Fish)

Post by guitarest » Fri Aug 26, 2011 11:13 pm

I have 2 baby Spade fish that I am willing to give away to a good home. They are the size of a dime and one is solid black and the other is a speckled black w/silver. There really is no way to sex them so I am unsure what they are.

So again I have two baby Spade fish the size of dimes I am willing to give away. They already eat crisps and small shrimp, and school together in the 55gal. So if you want a cool little fish who is currently in a brackish tank at .016 salt level; although they can survive in a full salt reef tank. They are yours just tank a quick ride to my place.

I am not giving away my big fish, just the small baby's.

In my large tank I have one Spade fish since the BP Spill and the other since last fall. The older one is the size of a smaller dinner plate and has a killer appetite, he/she eats cut shrimp, oysters, crab and also Tetra Crisps. My younger one is the size of a coffee cup and has the same diet; they school together and are not aggressive towards the other fish. Although like all fish if it can fit in their mouths they will try to eat it. My older Spades reside in the 100gal and are pretty cool to watch.
