My SetUp: AGA 150g 48x30x25, Reef Octopus Skimmer, Bio Pellet, Phosphate, Carbon reactor. Mostly a SPS coral tank with a few zoas a Green Polyp Toadstool, a Chalice or two and a couple of Scollys thrown in there. Top Off System and dosing pump system for Calcium and Alk.

Anyone know anything about these corals? I have seen pics of them online but don't know squat about them, I heard that they cost a bunch.

My SetUp: 55g, 70#'s lr, 40#'s ls, 10 DIY acrylic sump, in sump skimmer, 1 Jebao wp20 and 2 Koralia 1050 controlled by a Smart Wave, DIY LED's--12 RB, 10 UV's and 8 CW.

Gerwin had something that looked like that a few months ago. I asked about it and he said it was related to the elegance coral. May not be the same thing but it was $280. It had the same pink color and tentacles. $280 for something the size of a half dollar is up there in price :D

I was wondering if it was a type of Elegance coral. I saw a post on RC from a man in Canada that was selling them. I saw they were high $$$ and had never heard of them. They look like they might ba able to kill a fish or something.

From what I gathered there are imposters on the market and those are what are being sold for the high $$, or the fact they are indeed illegal corals and are slipping through customs.

hmmmm,
my guy did call it a type of cataphylia /elegance family. It looks just like that pic Wes put up. And I took it home! since it looked blah in the store and no one in their right mind would pay 280.00! now when it opens and it does it looks like I might have some contraband! :shock:
