Re: new facade for reef tank
finally have all doors completed and installed...talk about time consuming.
still have one corner piece to install. the control panel was the best part of this project.

It really turned out nice, congrats to you. When you get the time.
maybe you could give us run down on your control panel, what all does it do, and how its set up.

Re: new facade for reef tank
the top piece is a tunze multicontroller(wavemaker)
have it set to control two tunze streams and two tunze powerheads
i am using a sequential mode set at 45 second intervals.
power head in right corner on for 45 seconds
then power head in left corner on for 45 seconds
then stream on right side of for 45 seconds
then stream on left side on for 45 seconds
each previous pumps stays running for its respective 45 seconds
then to add on that, the pumps(while in on position) pulse between 100% capacity
and to 30% capacity(which is variable)
the second controller controls a wave box on right hand side of tank(which creates about a 1/4-3/8 wave in 8 feet
the third controller controls a stream on right hand of tank which has the same pulse capacity as mentioned above
tunze pumps are very powerful, energy efficient, and to top it off the pumps only operate at 24 volts.

Re: new facade for reef tank
I would love to see all of this working, do you think you will let us come over on the tank tour and give us a run down on your tank?
