Okay, so the good momma I am, I spot feed my Duncan and Sun corals. As well as the fish and other critters in my tank at the same time. Here's the thing, my cleaner shrimp come along after catching dinner free style and start probing the duncan and sun corals to remove the food from them. (I really am trying to be good here, cause on a personal note, it just doesn't look right.

) The corals have actually closed around the food (brine shrimp and mysis shrimp), along come the shrimp craming their little arms down into the mouths of the corals and pull out the food. How long are the corals going to tolerate this kind of abuse before the shrimp become dinner? I know it would not take long for me to take a limb off if something was doing that to me.

My shrimp do this (or were) to my baby Rose Ann. and I got them to stop by feeding the shrimp a piece of table shrimp first. By the time they are finished with their meal the Ann. has had hers.

+1 for Redfishs idea,
but I also think in the course of a day between your feeding the corals and what they get natural while you feed the fish they are probably getting enough anyways.
Its a chain reaction...then your fish will start taking the shrimp from the cleaner shrimp, so then you start to feed the fish more so the shrimp can eat so the anemone can eat and next you got HIGH Nitrates

I should add, I do this feeding of my shrimp and my Ann. when my lights first come on in the morning, my fish aren't up and about when this feeding is done. Have learned that lesson about the fish stealing the food, lol. Ain't no fish goin to outsmart me, even though they try.
