Tubbs Blue

Post by Redfish » Wed May 05, 2010 8:40 pm

:( Woke up this morning and my Tubbs Blue zoas had came off of their frag plug. Hopefully they will turn up. I sent Andy an E Mail asking him to make me another 10 polyp frag. Maybe by the time I get over to Mobile again they will have time to stick to the frag plug a bit better. I really wouldn't worry about it to much, but those Tubbs Blues are really nice looking zoas.

Time to hang signs on the power poles around the hood, now that would be some funny shizzle:

Guess I'm gonna have to post the dogs out in the livingroom,,,, seein' as how we have a zoa snatcher in the mist..

Pete, I have had that happen when I try to glue down rics, sometimes they get pissed off and slime off the rock I put them on. I usually find them blowing around in the tank and try again. You could try to use a small powerhead to see if you can blow them out from their hiding place. Good luck, I hope they show up for you. They do look very nice.

The thing about it, this wasn't a fresh cut frag, the Tubbs had been on there a few weeks. Oh well, I have another frag coming with 17 polyps on it. A bit more than I wanted but it is an old frag that Andy cut polyps off of and they are encrusted to the plug.
