I am in a pickle... my son bought me a beautiful anemone and I am afraid what is happening to him is due to lack of lighting (as all other things have checked out fine).
I can't afford the $200 lighting for another month or so... does anyone have anything just whatever that I can borrow for about a month (until I can afford a light) or buy for under $50? It doesn't have to be pretty, I just need to get better light on him than what these two hoods can do.
I have a 30g hex, about 22" across the top... again, can hang over, whatever, I don't care. I might even trade you a kid lololol

nevermind... he died... I think my shrimp did it to him though. I haven't had him long enough for the lighting to do him
