Dumbest fish of the year award goes to my native puffer...

You can see him in a few videos on my youtube; he has been in my tanks now for almost 6 weeks. Eats great, gets along with most fish and tries to eats my really small shrimp (I know this is natural). But the lil puffer has to be the dumbest one in all my tanks. So far he has been suk'd up three times by the large 120 filter and once by the 60 filter and once even by the mini filter. Last night I had to shut off the filter remove the bottom that had suk'd part of the fish into it and then he inflated thus trapping himself. It took almost 2 hours to get him to de-inflate himself so I could assist him getting free. Everytime we got close he would puff up again. With that I am happy to report the dumbest fish in south Mississippi is alive and well back in my kiddy tank so he can't hurt himself again...... lol

i also have a puffer fish i caught him a week ago with my cast net i do believe it is a southern puffer mine likes to try and hide in the sand and when you turn the light on he shoots out of the sand. one time he swam into the live rock but kept on swimming its a crazy little fish.
